Rudra Watch Co - Gada-1 Automatic

Some watches are made for special occasions. Others are made for everyday life. We wanted the GADA-1 to feel right in both.

The Rudra GADA-1 Automatic is our take on a classic watch, with a few details that make it our own.

The first thing you'll notice is the honeycomb pattern at the centre of the dial. It gives the watch a little more character without making the design feel busy. Around it, we've kept things simple with clean hour markers, carefully finished hands and a fluted bezel that catches the light beautifully.

The 39 mm stainless-steel case gives it a balanced presence on the wrist. It looks just as comfortable with a formal shirt as it does with jeans and a casual outfit.

Inside, the GADA-1 runs on a Japanese Miyota 8215 automatic movement. There's no battery to replace. The watch runs on the movement of your wrist.

Turn the watch over, and there's another detail worth looking at. The transparent glass caseback gives you a view of the mechanical movement inside. You can see the rotor move as you wear the watch and get a glimpse of the mechanics that keep it running. It's one of those little things that makes owning an automatic watch more enjoyable.

We've also included a sapphire crystal on the front, a date window at 3 o'clock and 50 metres of water resistance, making it a practical choice for regular wear.

And at 12 o'clock sits our Rudra trident, a small detail that carries the identity of our brand.

We didn't want the GADA-1 to be a watch that spends most of its time inside a box. We wanted something you'd enjoy wearing to work, to a family function, on a dinner date, or simply on a regular day.

Midnight Blue

Deep blue has a character of its own. Depending on the light, the dial shifts between a rich navy and a darker, almost black shade.

Paired with silver-tone markers and a dark brown leather strap, Midnight Blue is a great choice if you like a watch that stands out without being loud.

With its blue hands, matching hour markers and navy leather strap, Arctic Silver has a fresh, understated look. It works particularly well with office wear, lighter outfits and smart-casual clothing.

Royal Champagne brings together a soft champagne-coloured dial, gold-tone details and a dark brown leather strap. The honeycomb texture adds just enough detail to keep things interesting.
